All these baby quilts....

One more baby quilt y'all and we'll get back to regular posting.  I made this for a sweet cousin who's having a baby boy!  It's another top with the minky fuzzy stuff on the bottom.  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Talk to y'all soon!

  1. So, I thought this looked like a camo quilt! It is actually a very intriguing design and makes you want to keep looking at it.

    1. Thank you! It's the first time I've done this pattern but I like it. The recipient absolutely loved it. Which made me happy since I wasn't quite sure about the brown I used. Even her husband liked it!

    2. My first Saturday in a restaurant here and an entire family came in wearing camo--including the newborn baby they had with them. Grandma, Grandpa, husband, wife, and about 6 kids. I am pretty sure you cannot go wrong in Mississippi when it comes to camo. It actually spawned my planned lingerie line--Suzassippi's Camo Babes. Sadly, I have let work distract me from sewing camo undies.

    3. Believe it or not but Mossy Oak brand camo makes camo lingerie! I'm country but not that country! I'm not a wear camo out in public kind of girl. Camo is for the woods and feeding cows. Overalls kind of fall in that category for me too. I remember in high school in the late nineties when overalls (with one strap undone) was all the rage. I could never understand the appeal. I mean they're great rolled up over rubber boots and everything feeding cows in the winter in mud (If you've got overalls on and you get in mud too deep it can't pull your pants off like with regular jeans.) LOL! But I mean just to wear out to the store? No. Just no.
