Stories of the South - Webster County Kudzu
This blog is not just about Noxubee County. I'm originally from the
community of Cairo, MS about 20 minutes west of West Point, MS. My
whole family, both sides, is from Chickasaw County and Webster County. Houston, Woodland, Mantee, Hohenlinden, Anchor, etc., all these
little communities are so important to me and hold a large part of my
heart.
If you leave Mantee, Ms and head out into the country on 261/Mantee Road you'll run across a little road to the left and right behind the Mt Pleasant Cemetery sign is the most glorious kudzu I've seen all year.
There's several reasons why I love this little crossroads so much and I'll tell you more in later blogs. Have a good day my lovelies. I'm currently getting over a stomach bug that knocked me out in the bed early Sunday night and left me knocked out in the bed the better part of Monday. Stomach viruses are an evil thing. Until next time!
