It's that time of year!

And no I don't mean Christmas.....please.  It's time for the National Finals Rodeo!

I'll be glued to the TV for 10 glorious nights of barrel racing and watching to see what Fallon Taylor is wearing.  I'll be rooting for Kaley Bass, I'd love to see a southern cowgirl as world champion again and Kaley is from Florida.  I'll also be rooting for Fallon Taylor of course and also for Christie Loflin.  I also love our resident school teacher Trula Churchill from Nebraska.  Why didn't I become a school teacher?  All the ladies are great to watch and I've got my DVR set.

Long live cowboys!

    1. As much as I love to watch it my rodeoing was pretty limited to local ones. I was more successful in open races. Rodeo is hard on a barrel racer. There's nowhere to warm up, the ground is usually trash, and getting in and out of the area can be a nightmare.

And my girls Fallon and Trula went 1 and 2 last night! I'm pumped!

  3. The guy I work for went to this for years and years. He didn't go last year and again this year, but he is a devoted rodeo fan and won all kinds of awards in his youth for calf roping (which is my least fav thing). I could watch barrel racing all day long, it is my favorite part. Enjoy!
