Make it Monday - Eye Makeup Remover
I'm not a super crunchy hippy, just slightly crunchy don't ya know. I have a tendency to get just a little bit more enjoyment than I probably should out of making things at home that I could go to the store and buy. One of those things I literally stumbled over last year was eye makeup remover.
I can't remember if it was a Pinterest pin or a Facebook post or maybe a YouTube video but I scribbled down the recipe in a little notebook that holds recipes for various other concoctions and have tweaked it here and there over the past year. The ingredients are cheap, easy to find, and the biggest ingredient is - wait for it - water.
A lot of the things we buy, cleaners, washing detergent, fabric softener are all majority water. You're paying a lot of money for just a very few ingredients.
I also like knowing exactly what I'm rubbing into my eyes. I'm funny like that. This stuff really works or I wouldn't be posting it. If you make it, let me know!
Homemade Eye Makeup Remover

1/2 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil

Combine and shake container well before each use. Apply a small amount to a cotton pad and wipe the makeup away.
This stuff really works for Smokey Eye Makeup
