Foodie Fridays - Baked Italian Chicken

Yall.

Have I got a chicken recipe for you.

I know, I know.  Yet another chicken recipe.  But this one is good.

I promise!

It's so good that the man that gave it to my husband thought it was good enough he printed a copy for everyone in the office and put it in their mail boxes at work.

And it's simple.

And delicious.

And is even better the second or third day reheated.

Honest.

The picture is mine from the other night, but the recipe is from the blog
Bacon, Butter, Cheese & Garlic and you can click on the link to see the recipe in full.

Let's just say there's onion and mushrooms saute'd in butter, artichoke hearts, and cheese involved and leave it at that.  It's good.

Have a great weekend everyone and we'll see you next week!

  1. Well, while this warms the cockles of my mushroom, artichoke, butter, cheese loving heart, you lost me on the onions. And, lost J and R on artichoke. However, I pride myself on keeping an open mind, so please bring one serving to me with onions included--would not want the other two to go to waste would we? I will weigh in after tasting.

    1. I think you could honestly substitute many different vegetables in this and it would still be. I would say just sauté them and then combine with the cream cheese mixture and follow the recipe from there. I'm a recent artichoke convert my own self but I Love sautéed onion. I'll be sure to pack one serving the next time I head north for sure. ;)

  2. MMMMmmmm! Let's not even think about the nutritional content of this one. Anything this good has to be "good for you"! Can't wait to try this!
