Sunshine on a........

Today it is absolutely dreary, rainy, yucky, and just ugh.  They began forecasting this line of terrible storms
last week, so I pretty much spent the entire day Saturday outside in a fit of defiance and didn't do one single ounce of housework because the rain was coming back Sunday.  It came an absolute deluge Sunday morning, which we drove to church in, and then strangely the sun came back out that afternoon when it was supposed to be the start of the bad weather we are just now getting this afternoon.

It finally started raining last night sometime in the wee hours of the morning and had stopped by the time I left for work.  It didn't rain the entire time I was at work but the schools and my daycare closed at 1:00 p.m. so I picked up Allie, worked for another two hours, and then high tailed it for gas and home.  Tupelo (about an hour north) has been hit by a major tornado as has Lousiville (about 20 minutes west).  I'll probably not stop sleep very well tonight.  I don't care if I get blown away, but I don't want anything happening to my little bit.
Mother nature.  Stop it.  Just stop.  There are places like Oklahoma that need this rain, not us.  Any honestly no one needs a tornado.

So, to make myself feel better let's look at some pictures of pear trees in bloom from a few weeks ago when that big yellow ball in the sky was actually able to be seen, and mother nature wasn't trying to kill us.
