Photography Inspiration

One of my biggest photography inspirations is Walker Evans.

I found his work in college when I was doing research for a project. There was a book in the University Library that was a compilation of his work and I was in love. I had already found Eudora Welty's photography and Walker Evans was even better. Full of wonderful black and white photographs of the south that he took during his time with the Farm Security Administration (FSA) while documenting the Great Depression in the South. He used a large format 8x10 inch camera and the photographs are beautiful. These small pictures taken from the web don't even do them justice. Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
