Picking Wildflowers

*Caution, this is a pic heavy post*

Noxubee county is blessed with an abundance of beautiful wildflowers.  Most of which I do not know the names of sadly.  I used to know the names of tons of plants and trees.  I kept drawings and notes in little notebooks about the flowers and trees that grew on our place.  I was constantly baggering my dad about what kind of tree is this?  What's the name of this?  I think it came from reading "My Side of the Mountian" by Jean Craighead George and and "Where the Lilies Bloom" by Vera and Bill Cleaver.

Some I still know and thanks to the internet I was able to jog my membory about the rest.
